SDS is built on advanced dual-mode technology that combines acoustic and infrared detection to accurately confirm gunshots.
Their existing CMS lacked a structured design system, consistent styling, and ADA compliance, making the site difficult to scale, manage, and trust.
The challenge was to rebuild their CMS and visual system from the ground up while preserving the core brand. I worked closely with the SDS team to realign their color strategy using ADA compliant primary colors as the foundation and secondary colors as accents, bringing clarity and hierarchy to the brand.
This shift transformed the experience from visually inconsistent to purpose driven and cohesive, establishing a clear design pattern that mirrors how SDS technology detects gunshots through sound waves and signal confirmation, while clearly differentiating their indoor and outdoor hardware solutions.
